Indy Pendant (yes, someone got terribly creative with her name) is a cat, a white moggie. A rescue who was found in a soaked cardboard box near the Thames along with two sisters, all of them having gone to good homes now, thank the feline goddess above. Though, if you ask Indy, she got the better deal out of the three of them. And you can ask Indy, because unlike most cats, she speaks Human. Very well, in fact. Sometimes, you can't get her to shut up.
She was adopted by Jane the College Student who lives alone in a studio flat in the middle of London. They are very close. You've never seen a cat as protective and loving as Indy, and you've never seen a human as happy about the fact that her cat speaks to her as Jane is. They're each other's partners, in sickness and in health and in crime.
Officially, Indy's an indoor cat, because London is big and dangerous, but sometimes Jane leaves the front door ajar and pretends not to see her friend make a run for it. Indy brings her mice and birds as a thank you, then they have a little domestic about that.
Life's good that way.
