The flat resounded from footfalls as Jane ran around the sitting room in search of her house keys. Where are they, where are they, she muttered, moving random objects to have a look behind or beneath. Indy was lying curled up on the sofa, watching this drama unfold.

"You sure you haven't seen them, Indy," Jane asked again, spinning around her own axis, one hand messing up her hair. "I'm going to be so late."

"Haven't seen them," Indy replied, which was true because she lay on top of them.

Too bad Jane would just have to miss her date.
